Happy 70th Birthday to Les Dennis! The English comedian, actor and presenter, best known for presenting Family Fortunes and Celebrity Big Brother, is celebrating turning 70 year today.
Les has been in show business for over 40 years, starting out with stand-up comedy performances on the club circuit back in the late 1970s. He landed his first professional role as Fletch in a touring production of Porridge in 1979 before he moved into television with sketch show The Les Dennis Laughter Show – and the rest is history!

Over a career of more than four decades, Les has become one of Britain's most recognised faces on TV. He's presented several shows including Family Fortunes, Fantasy Football League and Celebrity Squares, and he's also appeared in many programmes such as The Impressions Show with Culshaw & Stephenson, Extras, Coronation Street, Little Britain and Benidorm.
As well as performing on the small screen, Les has also starred in the West End musicals Chicago and Rent, taken a lead role in film The Bespoke Overcoat (which was nominated for an Oscar) and even released two albums of covers. He also took part in the seventh series of Celebrity Big Brother where he made it to third place.
